The Prince’s Trust Airstream trailer rolled into Edinburgh as part of the charity’s 40th Anniversary celebrations on Thursday. The #partofPT Airstream was in St Andrew’s Square to raise awareness of the charity’s work while collecting stories from those whose lives have been touched by its good work.

Prince's Trust 40th anniversary

The Prince’s Trust is Capita’s current chosen charity, and already the group has raised over £550,000 to support the charity.

Capita employees and businesses have been giving their time and expertise to The Prince’s Trust’s programmes, as well as supporting The Trust through fundraising activities.

You can see some of the highlights of Capita’s charity activity – from the £77k raised through the Million Makers competition, to the company’s very own version of The Voice – and find out more about the great work that’s done by the Prince’s Trust.

We became part of Capita – a FTSE 100 group – last summer, joining the firm’s digital and software solutions unit, so it was fantastic to see the #partofPT celebrations in Edinburgh.

The St Andrew’s Square stop of the #partofPT celebrations was just one location in a 16 date tour of the UK. Since 1976 the Prince’s Trust has helped more than 825,000 young people and supports around 100 more every day. This epic road trip aimed to give the charity the chance to celebrate with everyone who has made this work possible.
