Over 40 TM1 Users met-up in Glasgow last week for an afternoon dedicated to data, analytics and insight.

Users from across the UK met up in Glasgow to hear the the TM1 journey of our guest speakers and get a fresh look at developments in Planning Analytics.

TM1 User Group, Glasgow

Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority were the first to take the floor, alongside Barrachd’s Alan Crameri, to discuss their contract planning solution built using TM1. MRWA outsource much of its work to third party contractors and the resulting contracts are amongst the most complex in Europe.

This was followed by IBM’s Colm Kenneally, who shared a demo of IBM Planning Analytics, and offered a fresh look at the new release.

After the coffee break, Burton’s Biscuits David Travis gave the assembled guests a blow-by-blow account of the biscuit baker’s TM1 journey. This entertaining, but insightful story gave more than a few tasty pieces of advice to take away for those setting out on a TM1 journey of their own.

The TM1 User Groups were launched to give TM1 Users the opportunity to network, share their experiences and learn a little from others in a relaxed and friendly environment. We hope  that tradition was maintained.

These Groups are held especially for TM1 Users like you, so feel free to spread the word – and please do let us know if there are any subjects that you would like addressed at future events.

Thanks once again to everyone that made it along. We hope to see you again soon, but if you have any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
