‘Inspiration, information and innovation’ were the themes of our latest Cognos User Group – and that’s exactly what we aimed to deliver when we welcomed around 70 guests to the Radisson Blu hotel on Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile for an afternoon dedicated to all things analytics.

The event kicked off with dedicated sessions on both Cognos Analytics and Planning Analytics, taking a look at some of the very latest technology from the world of Cognos, alongside a customer story, before exploring some alternative data sources and adding a sprinkling of AI as we turned our attention to the analytics journey that lies ahead.

Cognos User Group 2018

A special thank you goes out to all our guest presenters, in particular IBM’s Colm Kenneally, and Ian Boylan and Joan Boone from Invest Northern Ireland, who made it safely to Edinburgh despite a Yellow Weather Warning looming over Belfast.

However, we extend that thanks to everyone who made it along on the day too – without your support and without you making the time to attend, we wouldn’t be able to run events like these – it was a fantastic turnout!

We really hope that you found the Cognos User Group useful, and if you would like any more information on any of the presentations, please do get in touch – we’d be happy to chat some more or answer any questions. In fact, fill in the form on this page and we’ll get right back to you.

We would really like to keep you up to date with future Barrachd news. But we know that no one wants to be contacted with irrelevant, self-promoting spam. So if you tick the box, we promise to only ever send you (very) occasional updates on news that we think will interest you, invites to exclusive Barrachd events and webinars, and relevant offers that could help drive your data advantage. And, of course, you can opt out at any time if you change your mind.
